Methodology
- Score 0–100 = weighted sum of six components (sun, visibility, fresh snow, snow depth, wind, temperature) + bonuses − penalties. Calculated in the valley and at the summit; resort = weighted average.
- Sun: calibrated chance of sun in the morning (9–12) and afternoon (12–16).
- Reliability: based on lead time and country; faded from day 4.
- Drive time: pure driving time without traffic (OSRM) from 7 cities. My location = straight-line estimate.

Impartiality
Only the score determines the ranking. Commission, partnerships and advertising don't change it – an automated test checks this.
We pick accommodation by distance to the lift, not by commission.
